Spring 2021 Virtual Commencement
Friday, May 14, 2021, 2 p.m.
George Mason University conducted its 54th Spring Commencement virtually. The ceremony on Friday, May 14, 2021 was live-streamed (see below). First Lady Jill Biden was George Mason University’s Commencement speaker and recorded a speech for graduates that was broadcast during the livestream event.
Mason worked with a company called Marching Order, a virtual platform and hub, to honor our Spring 2021 graduates. The site gave each graduate an opportunity to create an individual, shareable slide by submitting a photo and a brief message to fellow Patriots, family, and friends.
