Stephanie Booth

Stephanie Booth is an artist working in the Washington D.C. metro area. She attended Mary Washington College and graduated with honors in 2004, earning a BA in Studio Art and Art History. Booth worked as a secondary art educator for six years and, during that time, studied at Virginia Commonwealth University, earning an MIS in Studio Art with concentrations in Mixed Media and Computers in the Arts in 2007. She received her MFA in Art and Visual Technology from George Mason University and has taught at George Mason, Northern Virginia Community College, and The College of Southern Maryland and West Virginia Wesleyan College. Booth’s interdisciplinary practice integrates digital photography, printmaking, video, and fiber art techniques to investigate the connections between memory and history. Booth has exhibited her work nationally and internationally, including galleries in New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., Toronto, and China.
