MACAM is pleased to host a lecture and workshop by Chawky Frenn, painter, art professor at George Mason University in the United States, and Fulbright Scholar. Join us on Saturday, July 22nd, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The lecture “Art as a Voice for Peace” will be followed by a workshop, “Exploring Line,” designed for both beginners and artists interested in developing their fundamental visual literacy. Following a presentation on composition, the visual elements, and the properties of line, participants practice perceptual drawing and explore the multiple aspects and functions of line as it establishes composition and creates the illusion of light, form, and space on a two-dimensional surface.
MACAM will provide pencils and paper for the workshop.

Admission to the lecture and workshop is free, but we welcome donations to support MACAM’s mission and sustainability. After the event, we invite you to join us for refreshments in MACAM’s agora.

To reserve your spot or if you have any questions, please contact us at info@macamlebanon.org or call 03322432.
We look forward to seeing you there!
