College of Visual and Performing Arts Degree Spring Celebration Ceremony


Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 3:00 p.m.
Center for the Arts Concert Hall

Bachelor’s and Master’s graduates will be individually recognized and photographed as they cross the stage.

University Commencement Ceremony


Thursday, May 14, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.
Eagle Bank Arena

Tickets for both events:

  • All students registered to graduate will receive an email on March 2 from the central university events team (gmuevent@gmu.edu) with instructions on registering for their event and claiming tickets.
  • Guest tickets are required for all guests to enter the arena and attend the ceremonies. If you are attending both Commencement and your College Degree Celebration, you will need the appropriate guest tickets and stage passes for each ceremony.
  • Graduates do not need a ticket but must register for a stage pass through Tassel
  • As tickets remain available, more tickets will be released.

Grad Fair

Get all of your graduation items, caps and gowns, diploma frames, announcements, rings, etc

  • Date/Time: March 3, 4, and 5, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
  • Location: Dewberry Hall, Johnson Center (Fairfax Campus)
