Mason’s campuses are in the heart of one of the country’s most dynamic, creative regions. This prime location provides students at the College of Visual and Performing Arts access to world-class exhibitions, performances, internships and careers, as well as opportunities for performing and exhibiting their work.

The college has a strong presence on three of George Mason University’s campuses in Northern Virginia. Our academic programs are located primarily on Mason’s Fairfax campus with its full complement of studios, theaters, galleries, and classrooms. Students benefit from a vibrant residential college atmosphere.

The Arts Management graduate program is based on the Arlington Campus, providing easy access to the policymakers and cultural leaders in the nation’s capital. The Science and Technology Campus in Prince William County is home to the beautiful Hylton Performing Arts Center, where both student ensembles and professional touring artists perform. The campus also houses the Virginia Serious Game Institute, which is the business, community outreach, and applied creation and development arm of the Computer Game Design program.
