Founders Hall Gallery is a public art venue that seeks to foster dialogue, understanding, and community building through collaborative art exhibitions.

Arts Opportunities for Mason Students

  • Free Exhibitions: In Founders Hall Gallery Mason Students can view exhibitions of work by professional artists, as well as student and faculty work.
  • Chance to Exhibit Work: Students can submit exhibition proposals for shows of their work. Email for more information.
  • Volunteer Opportunities: Arts management students may volunteer to assist with gallery installation and exhibition preparation. Submit your letter of interest.

Creating Through Community Collaboration

Founders Hall Gallery is coordinated by the Arts Management Program at Mason Square (formerly the Arlington Campus). 

Through a rotating exhibition program, the gallery provides opportunities for dialogue, understanding, and community building.

These exhibitions foster partnerships both within different areas of study at Mason Square (formerly the Arlington Campus) and the broader Arlington community.

Exhibition, collaboration, and sponsorship proposals are welcomed from Mason affiliates, as well as community members. Please email Arts Management for more information.

Parking: On-campus visitor parking is available in the Founders Hall garage. To access Founders Hall garage, use the alley behind Founders Hall, turning off either Kirkwood Drive or Washington Boulevard at the traffic signal between Giant and Metropolitan Building. (Come down the hill and go past the GMUF garage and the Original Building loading dock.)

Off-campus metered parking is available on the surrounding streets. There is also a parking lot nearby on Herndon Street.

Getting Here: Founders Hall Gallery can be accessed through the main entrance doors of Founders Hall. The Gallery is located at the far left end of the first floor.
