George Mason Giving Day

George Mason Giving Day 2026

On April 2, the entire George Mason University community—students, alumni, parents, volunteers, faculty, staff, and the surrounding community—comes together to make a lasting impact.

Your participation in Mason Vision Day fuels:

  • Transformative experiences for the next generation of artists through scholarship opportunities at the College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA).

  • The reimagination of the Center for the Arts through the Give Voice Initiative.

  • Inspiring performances and programs that enrich our community, made possible by the Center for the Arts’ Artist-in-Residence program

  • Fostering talent, school spirit, and artistic excellence through scholarship opportunities for members of the Green Machine Pep Band.

Learn about the Give Voice initiative

The Center for the Arts, opened in 1990, is no longer a match for the growth and evolution we have experienced — and what we envision. Our community’s dreams are bigger, bolder, and brighter than ever. Our moment to make those dreams come alive is now, and we need your help.

The time has come to reimagine the Center for the Arts, to deepen our promise and our purpose. We’re launching a capital initiative to Give Voice to future generations of our creative community.

Each year, the Mason Artist-in-Residence program connects artists appearing at the Center for the Arts with on- and off-campus communities. Each Artist-in-Residence participates in a variety of activities, both in the classroom teaching our students and with the local community.
