Laura Mertens

Laura Mertens joined George Mason University’s Center for the Arts as Marketing Manager in 2022. Prior to that, she served at Georgetown University’s Department of Performing Arts as Public Relations and Special Events Manager; at the University of Maryland, College Park’s Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center as Communications Coordinator; and at the Missouri Symphony Society as Communications Director. She graduated summa cum laude with degrees in English and in Language Arts Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
