Biography
Aryaman Kantawala is a Film and Video Studies major. He’s lived in Frederick all his life. He has had a passion for film since a young age, but had only first experienced filmmaking in his sophomore year of high school. In sophomore year, he enrolled in a filmmaking program, TV/Multimedia Production, through his county Career and Technology Center and completed the class after two years. Through the Career and Technology Center, he has participated in multiple SkillsUSA competitions, including placing second at SkillsUSA States for TV/Video Production this year, and competing in the SkillsUSA States Digital Cinema competition last year. His other hobbies include playing piano (which he has been doing since 1st grade), running track/cross country, participating in his school musicals (Chicago, Mamma Mia, and Rock of Ages), and writing, and playing tennis. He would like to thank his parents for allowing and helping him to pursue all his interests.
