Biography
Film and Video Studies alum Brendan Gottlieb has been working at Disney as an animator since 2016 and was just nominated for two awards in the current season: The Annie Awards for Best Character Animation in the film Forevergreen and an Academy Award in the category for Best Short Animationfor Forevergreen.
He has been on the animation team for many Disney movies including Zootopia 2 (2025), Moana 2 (2024), Wish (2023), Encanto (2021), Raya and the Dragon (2020), Frozen 2 (2019), Wreck It Ralph 2 (2018), and Moana (2016).
