Chrys Sotos

Chrys Sotos is a rising senior studying producing in the Film and Video Studies program at George Mason University. Their work is mostly in the documentary field where they focus on telling the stories of women, immigrants, and queer individuals.  Chrys currently works as a photographer and videographer for Mason Student Centers Marketing team and as an intern for Memories Videography. Previously, they were a research assistant for Professor G Chesler and a Hanover County TV99 Intern. They are a part of Delta Kappa Alpha, a professional cinematic arts society, and a member of the Queer Film Association at Mason. Outside of filmmaking Chrys is a competitive powerlifter and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and traveling.
