Kelly Armstrong

Kelly Renee Armstrong is an actor and writer who facilitates creative interaction as an educator. She has taught at Howard Community College and Bowie State University. As an actor and playwright, she has had the pleasure of working with a number of wonderful theatres, including Rep Stage, Studio Theatre, Theatre J, Centerstage, Everyman Theatre, Eden Theatre Company, and Arena Stage. She was a participant in Arena Stage’s Playwrights Arena and a member of Actor’s Arena. Ms. Armstrong is a recipient of an Individual Artist Award for her solo work (Testify) from the Maryland State Arts Council. She was recently announced as a core apprentice with The Playwright Center in Minneapolis.
