Marco Duran

Marco Duran is a contemporary senior at George Mason University, expected to graduate in 2026 with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Video Studies, with a concentration in Directing. An aspiring filmmaker with more than a decade of experience shooting and editing, Marco has worked on a wide range of projects including music videos, documentaries, and corporate content. He recently finished a documentary featuring stories from an underrepresented community that will be screened in the Best of Film at Mason travelling showcase. As an artist, Marco is inspired by innovative techniques that push the boundaries of genre while focusing on narratives that inspires advocacy and social justice. When he’s not working on school projects or attending a concert in Washington, D.C., he’s often freelancing—filming weddings, corporate videos, and promotional pieces for his clients.
