The start of a new school year also means new Hylton Center Education Initiative programming!

The Hylton Center’s Veterans and the Arts Initiative has served as an arts and community hub for 11,000 military-connected people since 2014.

Starting this month, a captivating new art exhibition – Bennie Herron: Zero and One (9/6 – 11/6) – is showcased at the top of the Hylton’s grand staircase in the Buchanan Partners Art Gallery.

Bring the whole crew out for an afternoon of free performances and arts experiences! Arts Alive! 2022 returns to the Hylton Center this Sunday, September 11 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Tony nominee Norm Lewis takes the stage in Merchant Hall on September 18, and promises that his Virginia concert will feature what he describes as “Norm’s greatest hits,” major songs from the musicals he has starred in over the years.
