Prof.Badilla-Meléndez joined us from the O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library at the University of Saint Thomas, where she has been working as the Head of Music and Media Collections.

    Dr. Anna Balakerskaia is a “consistently thrilling pianist” (Judy Gruber, Washington Post) whose expression “wells with a delightful freedom,” (Robert Dumm, Clavier) and whose sound “is warm and deep.”

    Jorge Bañales is the Photo Lab Tech at George Mason University's School of Art, within the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
  • Daniel T. Barney, PhD

    Associate Professor, Art Education and Program Director, MAT II, School of Art, CVPA

     

    Dr. Barney became a licensed K-12 art teacher after earning his BFA in Printmaking & Drawing, as well as obtaining his credentials in Art and Spanish Teaching. His undergraduate degrees and MA degree (in Art Education) were issued by BYU in Utah, where he served as President of the Utah Art Education Association.

    Brian Barr is an artist and independent curator from Detroit, MI, currently based in Richmond, VA. His work explores the space between function, meaning and aesthetics.
  • Rebecca Basch

    Adjunct Faculty, School of Art, CVPA

    Bekí Basch is an interdisciplinary artist who creates objects and experiential installations in the context of field research and ruminations on psychospirituality. Using a vocabulary associated with simulated environments and curated experiences (museums, aquariums, ice rinks, dioramas, artifacts), she draws together personally resonant and ostensibly disparate elements to express a new narrative of interconnectivity and possibility.

    Wade Beach is widely respected for his harmonic sophistication and superb technique, which knows no stylistic limitations. He holds a master’s degree in piano performance from the University of Maryland.
