Shanice Mason (she/her) is a Washington, D.C.-based dance artist, arts administrator, digital media consultant, and educator. Shanice’s skills, at the intersection of art and digital media, include graphic design, media production, and content creation.

George Mason University’s School of Dance presents the 2024 Mason School of Dance Gala Concert on March 22 and 23, celebrating a rich array of diverse choreographic voices that span from the early days of modern dance to the freshest perspectives of today.

Most recently Valeria was an instructor at The Kirov Academy of Washington DC, during which time the school won best school two years in a row at the New York City YAGP.

Da’Shown Rawl studied Ballet and Modern at the Baltimore School of the Arts in Baltimore, Maryland. He is a graduate of the prestigious Dance Department of George Mason University.

Jenelle Mrykalo, a native of Pennsylvania, holds a BFA in dance from Temple University, where she was also a scholarship trainee at PHILADANCO!

Shu-Chen Cuff was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan where she established a well-rounded background in dance with training in Ballet, Modern, Chinese Opera movements, and various Chinese folk dances.

Colleen Hayes is a new member of the Adjunct Faculty teaching Intermediate Broadway Jazz. Her 10-year performing career began with the first national tour of Catch Me If You Can.

Prior to her position as Production Manager in the School of Dance, Sophie Sotsky lived and worked in New York City. She was a dancer, choreographer, lighting designer, and production manager.

Celine Berthaud began her formal dance training at the Boston Arts Academy where she graduated as a Dance Major. Upon graduation, she attended George Mason University on a performance scholarship receiving her Bachelors in the Fine Arts for Dance.
