    Ana Farnham is a multimedia designer and educator with a broad range of specialties within the design world. She believes in the accessibility of multi-modal design. Her research focuses on experiential graphic design with accessibility at its core.

    Jocelyn Tafalla was born and raised in the DMV metropolitan area. She holds two degrees from George Mason’s School of Art & Design; Bachelor of Arts, 2010 and Master of Arts, 2019, both with a concentration in graphic design.

    Jazz bassist Ben Thomas hails from Connecticut and currently resides in Washington D.C. He has performed with Melissa Aldana, Ted Nash, Sean Jones, Bob Brookmeyer, Tony Malaby, Till Brönner, Ari Honeig, The New York Ballet, and Ryan Truesdell in notable venues including The Kennedy Center, The White House, The Midwest Clinic, The Jazz Education Network, Umbria Jazz Festival, Smalls, and Birdland.

    Executive Director of Center for the Arts, CVPA

    Julie Thompson, Executive Director of the Center for the Arts at George Mason University, joined the university more than fifteen years ago after a career as a professional stage manager in regional theater and opera, including long-term residencies at Minnesota Opera, Washington Opera at the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap Opera, and Center Stage in Baltimore.

    Eric Thornton is a Midwest transplant to the D.C. metro area. Trained as an artist and potter, he has participated in several international artist-in-residence programs at the International Ceramic Center in Kecskemet, Hungary as well as the Zentrum fur Keramik Berlin, Germany.

    Matt Trkula is a Northern Virginia based classical guitarist and teacher. He earned his BM in Classical Guitar Performance from the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati under Clare Callahan and Masters degrees in Classical Guitar Performance and Music Education from George Mason University under Larry Snitzler.
