Bridget Higgins

Bridget Higgins received a B.S. in Business Administration and Psychology from Mary Washington College. Following graduation, she worked for a lobbying firm for two years and moved on to the Senate Armed Services Committee where she conducted research for use in hearing materials, legislation for the annual National Defense Authorization Act, and a congressional report on Iraqi weapons of mass destruction that was presented on the Senate floor and included in the Congressional Record.  She also served as the assistant to the Staff Director by gathering and disseminating information to the committee staff, other Senate offices, and Secretary of Defense staff.  She has always had a love for music, singing in a cappella ensembles in high school as well as playing piano.  She has also always loved putting on shows, culminating in her college job of working at Mary Washington’s Dodd Auditorium tech crew.
