- September 13, 2021George Mason University is the most diverse and most innovative institution in Virginia according to the latest rankings by U.S. News & World Report for its 2022 Best Colleges List, reflecting the university’s mission of providing access to excellence. Six programs made the top 100, including engineering, which rose 16 spots in the past year.
- September 3, 2021This fall, Mason’s College of Visual and Performing Arts (CVPA) celebrates the return of even more students back in our classrooms and studios as well as the joy of having audiences back for in-person performances. We are also commemorating the 20th anniversary of the College! To mark this occasion, the Center for the Arts and surrounding spaces will come alive with Arts Emerging: A Celebration of Renewal on Saturday, September 25, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Created in collaboration with Artist-in-Resident Kaneza Schaal and writer and illustrator Christopher Myers, CARTOGRAPHY draws on their work with refugee youth from around the world.
